I have very few Hush portfolios left from the convention circuit. So I thought I should offer them here for those of you that couldn't et to one of the shows I attended. They sold for $100 at the shows so I am going to sell them here for the same price and offer free shipping (within the US 48) with your purchase. The portfolio comes with a signed and numbered plate of each of the regular covers from the series. That's less than $10 a print!!!  For international orders, I will deduct $20US off your shipping so you get a similar deal. Please message me if you want one. I have samples of the plates and the envelope they come in below.

Like I said, I only have 12-15 left so the sale will go until I am sold out.

Hey, everyone.

Just in time for the holidays!! I am happy to announce that I am selling iPhone cases featuring my wildlife art on them. Check out the links bellow to see the different styles I will be carrying. I have cases for the iPhone 4s, 5c and 5s. I will most likely create some for the Galaxy phones in the future depending on how these sell. The cases are a soft see-thru rubber material and the material in which my art is printed will not slip off sleek surfaces. I stick mine to windows and counter tops all the time to show folks. Very easy to put on, the case has a small lip that overlaps the front edges so the screen does not come into contact with whatever surface you put it on.

Each case is $20 + $5 for shipping in the US (international please note me and I will figure out shipping). I will offer discounts for multiple orders! Please send me a note through here or e-mail me at with any questions you may have or simply to place your order.

I want to apologize for the lack of posts and action on my DA page. It's been a crazy time for me in all facets of my life and I hate that it kept me away from here, one of my favorite places to visit. Starting today, I will strive to post 2-3 times a week. I was thinking of doing 2 comic book entries a week, plus start 'Wildlife Wednesday" where I would post one of my wildlife drawings, sketches and/or paintings as I feel I do not do enough of those. There's tons of exciting news as well.

iPhone Cases!
I will be selling iPhone cases (for the iPhone 4 & 5 models) featuring my wildlife art on them. I will do a separate journal on them once I get them in hand so I can post pictured of them. I will have them with me at Wonder Con later this month (see convention appearances). I will make these available to you as well so keep an eye out for that post!

Here's a list of the conventions I am planning on attending. I always bring new (low-numbered edition) sets of small prints as well as my 1 of 1 prints…: I also do hand colored commissions at all conventions so make bring your B&W's. I will let you know if I add any dates as well.

Wonder Con: March 29-31; Anaheim Convention Center.
Phoenix Comic Con: May 24-26; Phoenix Convention Center.
San Diego Comic Con: July 18-21; San Diego Convention Center.
New York Comic Con: October 10-13; Javits Center, NYC

A big thank you to all of you who have favorited my art or added me to your watch list. It truly means a lot to me. If you commented on any of my pieces, you will receive a comment back, just be patient as I go through those.

Take care and see you around here more often!

nu52 Justice League by sinccolor Justice League No.1 Combo CVR by sinccolor   Justice League 2 Cover by sinccolor Justice League No.2 Combo CVR by sinccolor

One of the cool things I've gotten to do with Justice League covers thanks to the New 52 is to help "create" the Combo Pack Edition covers. With same day digital, DC decided to make available a printed edition of the comic book with a code printed on the back that allows you to also download a digital version of the book. Guess they could have called it the "Get your cake and eat it too edition." I think Batman and Action Comics are available in this format as well.

To make the Combo Pack Edition just as collectible, DC asked that we change the regular cover so that folks who really wanted to, could buy both versions and feel like they got two different products. For the first 3 issues, I made minor changes to background color here and there, but since this IS Justice League, we all realized that we needed to push it to another level. So starting with issue 4, I was given the go-ahead to make the edits really noticeable. I've done covers 4, 5, 7 and 8 (working on 6 later tonight) and I have to say that I'm having fun doing them. Mostly it's because there have been times in the past when I finished a cover and thought, "I wonder what it would have looked like if I had done 'this' or 'that." Now I not only wonder, but have to produce a second version of each of these.

When I get a cover, I usually think about the color scheme I will use and what I have done in the past. With the Justice League covers, The first thing I wonder, "how the heck am I gonna come up with 2 versions?" So far, the combo version to #4 is my favorite, but the ones for 7 and 8 are close behind...stay tuned for those!

PS-This is a sneak peek at the Combo cover to #5!

Thank you, New York!! -- JL#2 tomorrow!

Journal Entry: Tue Oct 18, 2011, 10:20 AM

JL2, pgs 2-3 by sinccolor

A big, BIG thank you to everyone who came by my table and said hello. New York was kind to me (and my stomach-YUM!!). I love hitting the streets there and reconnecting with friends. My one regret is I did not get to Midtown comics, but guess now I have a reason to go back...not that I need one.

I'm back home and busting my hump on the next issue of Justice League. The second issue hits the shelves tomorrow and we are all very proud of it. I personally think it's better than #1 and for those of you that just can't wait, you can see the first 5 pages over at…

Hope you guys dig it. Next up for me (after I finish a couple books and a mural) is the Long Beach show on the 29-30th.

See you then!

I wanted to let everyone know that I will  be attending Comicon this year. I will spend most of my time at my table in Artists Alley (CC-23), sitting next to two of the best inkers in the biz INKIST and Blasterkid and the rest of the WildStorm gang. I will also be doing signings and possibly some coloring demos over at the DC Comics booth so ask the folks there about the schedule. I will also be part of a Photoshop panel on Saturday from 6-7 in room 30CDE.

I will have a new batch of 1 of 1 prints with me so come by and check them out. Since I am about to have them printed, I thought I would offer a special deal to anyone who buys one over the next week. Sooooo, I am knocking 10% off the price of any print(s) you buy. These come with a signed certificate of authenticity and will ship free within the US. I can also bring it for you if you are attending the show. With the exception of a few pages/covers that have already sold, anything you see in my gallery and/or any of the books I have ever worked on is available--including Hush, Superman, Blackest Night, Flashpoint and the new Justice League and Dark Knight art. Please send me a note concerning prices.

Flashpoint 1 Cover by sinccolor Flashpoint 1 pages 4-5 by sinccolor Flashpoint 1 pages 12-13 by sinccolor Flashpoint 2 Cover by sinccolor

Well, it's finally here. The first issue hit the stands on Wednesday and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. It's somewhat stressful working on the DC events, but that stress seems to go away once I hold each issue in my hand. Speaking of stress, I'm here to say that the XS screw up on page 3 was all me. I WAS coloring this sucker with a short deadline and it WAS over a weekend so I just googled and looked through my trusted online reference sites and my issues of Who's Who and I finally decided that the girl in question was Andy's version of Jessie Quick and colored her as such. There was no attempt at white washing and all that bull that folks brought up. It was a simple coloring mistake made by someone who had no clue that XS was in any way shape or form related to the Flash family. Sorry, I'm not a big Legion fan. So, at least our awesome editors caught the error and asked me to fix it. Anyway....

I love Andy Kubert's art so I jump at every chance I get to work with him. Flashpoint has been in the works for quite some time now so it's been a little bit of a torture waiting o actually get the pages for it. Working with Geoff is always--always so cool and he did it to me again. I mean, if you didn't get goosebumps with the Batman reveal at the end of the book then you need to have yourself checked by a physician! I just turned in the second issue and I can say that the cliffhanger on THAt is even better! Woooo, I'm anxious to read #3 now.

I truly hope everyone enjoys the series. I'm having a great time on it and judging by the scripts, pencils and inks I am seeing, so is the rest of the gang. I will submit some of my favorite moments on here and maybe give you some glimpses into the process on this one.

DCU Online Game!

Journal Entry: Sat Feb 5, 2011, 7:57 PM
DCU Online by sinccolor

How many of us have wanted to create a super hero that could go toe-to-toe with the Joker? or fought alongside Superman? Thanks to the folks at Sony Online and Jim Lee and his incredibly talented crew of artist, we ALL can do it!! The game's been out for a few weeks now and those of us who have played it can honestly say that it more than lives up to all the hype. Thanks to crazy deadlines I haven't been able to play it night and day (cough-Jim-cough) so my hero is probably dinky in comparison. Anyway, if you play, my character, Sinccolor is in the Killing Joke world so come by and pick a fight or help me clean up the town. IF you don't have the game yet, you gotta get it...really, you do. No, you DO!

Props to the guys at WS who worked for years to make this the best looking game out there: Jim Lee jimlee00, Carlos D'Anda Chuckdee, Joel Gomez JoelGomez, JJ Kirby JJKirby, Eddy Nuñez MiaCabrera, Michael Lopez LOPEZMICHAEL, Oliver Nome olivernome, and the unsung hero Eddie Choi.

LIVE by sinccolor

Well, the ride is over and I gotta say that it was one of the best projects I've have worked on my entire career. Everything about this project-from script to final product-- felt and looked amazing. There's nothing like working with the best writer in comics today-Geoff Johns; the best monthly artist (and inker) Ivan and Oclair; and the real reason why this book got to you on time, the behind the scenes folks at DC Comics. Two amazing editors in Eddie Berganza and Adam Schlagman whom I owe many, many thanks and many, many drinks. The unsung heroes here are Joseph Campagna, Nick Napolitano, Christopher Burns and the Production crew at DC. I cut a few of these issues close to the wire and they were always professional and complimentary once it was done. I think I owe them a few and maybe a box of Grecian formula for all the gray hairs I cost them. Most importantly, I want to thank everyone who picked up the issues. Month after month, we took the top spot in sales and you are the reason for that. Means more than I can ever express.

Many of you have requested I post pages from issues 7 and 8 so get your clicking finger ready because I'm about to start uploading.

There Goes the Neighborhood by sinccolor

Took the kids to Disneyland yesterday and was pleasantly surprised when I checked my DA page this morning. A big thank you to Hellobaby for suggesting "There Goes the Neighborhood" and Thiefoworld for featuring it as a DD. Most importantly, I am very thankful for all of you who took the time to look at it, fave it and/or add me to your watch list as a result. It means a lot to me every time someone checks out my art, so imagine what it's like for me when that person faves a piece or thinks enough of my work to put me on their watch list.

So on this day, I am not only thankful for family and health, but for all of you out there who enjoy and follow my work. I hope you all have a great weekend!
