12" x 12" Charcoal on paper. Staying on theme with mood, I found this drawing of another Gorilla female at the Zoo. I always feel at peace watching them. This was a charcoal demo for the students and took roughly 30-45 minutes. I wanted to show them just how dark you can go with charcoal with the hopes of inspiring them to put the pencil away and let loose with a more chaotic medium.
